The Customs Department has announced plans to auction seized iron, steel, plastic raw materials, and general consumer goods through a competitive bidding process. The auction is scheduled for 10 a.m. on September 28 and will take place at the Customs Training School Hall, located at 205/211 Maha Bandoola Road, between 49th and 50th streets in Botahtaung Township, Yangon.
Auction forms, which include the terms and conditions as well as the list of available items, will be available for purchase from September 16 to 18 at a cost of K10,000 per set. Interested bidders must submit security deposits between September 21 and 25 to qualify for participation.
Those who have paid the security deposit are permitted to inspect the items between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily from September 21 to 25. Iron, steel, and plastic raw materials will be on display at the Customs Department in Yangon Region, while general consumer goods can be examined at the Supply and Transport Division of the Customs Department in Yangon.
