Filming has begun on the third and final series of the BBC comedy "Daddy Issues," with new cast members Neil Morrissey and Sian Gibson joining the roster. Morrissey is set to portray the friend of Malcolm, played by David Morrissey, while Gibson will take on the role of Juno, the unpredictable sister of Sarah Hadland’s character, Rita.

The upcoming season, which picks up 18 months after the events of the previous series, follows Gemma, played by Aimee Lou Wood, and Malcolm as they adjust to life with their baby, Sadie. The storyline also introduces a new romantic interest for Gemma, Avery, played by Anthony Welsh. However, the show’s characteristic mix of humor and complications quickly returns as challenges arise for the central characters.

In addition to the new additions, Shobna Gulati, Liam Williams, Sophie Winkleman, and Seb Cardinal have joined the cast. Returning actors David Flynn, Taj Atwal, and Sharon Rooney will continue to reprise their roles in this concluding series. The production marks a continuation of the character-driven narrative that has blended familial dynamics with comedic elements throughout its run.
