The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) has ordered the withdrawal of a specific batch of the pesticide "Danzin 10G" after it failed to meet chemical testing standards. The directive, issued on October 19 by the Plant Protection Wing of the DAE, applies to all repackaged products from Batch No. 096321 bearing AP No. 3770 produced by Messrs Siam Crop Care.

According to the department, a sample from this batch was tested at the pesticide laboratory within the Plant Protection Wing, and the results were deemed unsatisfactory. In response, Siam Crop Care has been instructed to remove all affected products from the market within seven working days of receiving the order.

The company must also report to the relevant authorities specifying the quantity of withdrawn pesticides. The DAE letter warned that failure to comply with the withdrawal directive could result in legal action.

Additionally, the Plant Protection Wing has been asked to publish the withdrawal notice on the department’s official website to inform stakeholders. This move aims to ensure product safety and maintain quality standards in agricultural inputs distributed across the market.
