Estonian stuntman Jaan Roose completed a high-altitude slackline walk between two buildings in downtown Seoul on Thursday, captivating onlookers with his feat. Roose, 34, traversed a 520-foot slackline suspended 400 feet above the ground, a challenge made more difficult by winds reaching speeds of 13 miles per hour.
The crossing took approximately 15 minutes to complete, during which Roose maintained his balance despite the gusty conditions. After successfully reaching the other side, he further demonstrated his skill by performing handstands on the narrow line.
Roose’s achievement adds to his growing list of high-profile slacklining accomplishments. In 2023, he set a record for the longest slackline walk between buildings, covering 492 feet at a height of 600 feet between Qatar’s Katara Towers.
The stunt drew significant attention from city center spectators, highlighting Roose’s expertise in balancing acts conducted at extreme heights and under challenging environmental conditions.
