Daniel Siad, a figure linked to both Jeffrey Epstein and the modeling industry, was found dead in his Paris residence in July. The 69-year-old’s death prompted a post-mortem examination, which concluded that there were no indications of recent violence related to his passing. While the exact cause of death was not definitively determined, medical examiners identified evidence of a previous heart attack.

Siad’s connection to Epstein was notably extensive, with his name appearing thousands of times in Epstein’s files. These records included exchanges featuring photographs of young women Siad had scouted across Europe, accompanied by details such as their measurements. In one notable message, Siad described his role in the industry using fishing metaphors, stating, “in this busyness I feel like fisherman some time I cache quick, some time no fish.”

In February, prior to Siad’s death, the Paris prosecutor’s office initiated an investigation into allegations of human trafficking linked to him. However, officials indicated that there was insufficient evidence at the time to warrant his immediate arrest. Siad had also been accused of rape on several occasions, allegations he consistently denied. He further asserted a lack of knowledge regarding Epstein’s wider activities and expressed a willingness to cooperate with authorities by providing his account of events.

The investigation remains ongoing, with prosecutors continuing to examine the extent of Siad’s possible involvement in criminal activities connected to Epstein’s broader network.
