Toronto held a 74-67 advantage at halftime and extended it early in the third quarter by scoring the first five points. However, Cleveland slowly chipped away at the deficit, trailing 103-100 entering the final period.
The Cavaliers quickly turned the tide at the start of the fourth quarter, scoring the first eight points to seize control. Jaylon Tyson’s step-back three-pointer tied the game at 103-all, and Mobley’s subsequent three gave Cleveland a 106-103 lead. Schroder’s late scoring surge helped extend the lead and ultimately secure the win.
With the Cavaliers now leading the series, momentum shifts to Toronto for Game 6 as they look to force a decisive Game 7. The outcome of the next game will be critical in determining which team advances from the first round.
