Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin visited the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital in Mingaladon Station yesterday afternoon to offer support to military personnel undergoing medical treatment. Accompanied by senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of the Yangon Command, and other officials, General Kyaw Swa Lin was received by the hospital’s commandant and staff upon arrival.

During the visit, the delegation met with officers and other ranks who had incurred injuries while performing duties related to national defence and security. General Kyaw Swa Lin inquired about their health and progress, providing words of encouragement. The group also presented food supplies and cash awards to the recovering personnel.

Following the visit to patients, General Kyaw Swa Lin conducted an inspection of the hospital facilities and offered guidance to the officials responsible for managing the institution. The Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital, operating with 500 beds, provides specialized care for injured members of the armed forces. The visit underscores ongoing attention by senior military leadership to the welfare and recovery of servicemen and women receiving treatment.
