DFCC Bank was honoured with two country-specific awards at the 4th ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026, held recently in New Delhi, India. The Sri Lankan financial institution received the accolades for Best Performance on Growth - Sri Lanka and Best Performance on Profitability - Sri Lanka.

The event, organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), recognises the achievements of banking institutions across emerging markets in Asia. The awards highlight the ability of financial entities to expand business operations while maintaining strong financial returns.

The prizes were presented to Anton Arumugam, Senior Vice President of Offshore Banking, Remittances, and Business Development at DFCC Bank, by K. G. P. Sirikumara, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, during the ceremony.

DFCC Bank’s dual recognition underscores its disciplined growth strategy, which has emphasised strengthening customer relationships, prudent balance sheet management, and strategic investments to enhance operational capabilities. The bank has focused on sustainable expansion while maintaining profitability to support ongoing development efforts.
