Darren Schreiber, a builder from Wrea Green, Lancashire, has purchased a set of four animatronic dinosaur models previously used at Universal Studios in the United States. The 58-year-old acquired the moving, roaring dinosaurs at an online auction for £8,000, with the intention of sharing them with his grandchildren.

The life-like dinosaur models include a triceratops on which Schreiber and his grandchildren have enjoyed rides. Speaking about the unusual acquisition, Schreiber acknowledged that some people consider the purchase eccentric, but emphasized that his grandchildren are delighted by the interactive exhibits.

The models represent a unique form of entertainment and education, allowing children to engage with prehistoric creatures in a vivid and dynamic way. Schreiber’s decision to bring the dinosaurs from a major film studio theme park to his local area has attracted attention for its creativity and dedication to family enjoyment.
