DIP Holding has launched its initial public offering (IPO), allowing UAE residents to apply for shares starting Tuesday, with the public subscription window closing on November 3. The company, which operates Dubai Investments Park and is owned by Dubai Investments, is offering a 20 percent stake as part of the listing on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). Trading is set to commence on November 11.
Investors interested in participating in the public category must apply with a minimum investment of Dh5,000. Applications can be submitted in multiples of Dh1,000, with no specified maximum limit. It is important to note that submitting an application does not guarantee full allocation of shares equivalent to the amount invested. Share allocations will depend on subscription demand and allocation guidelines, with any excess funds refunded after the allocation process is complete.
To apply, investors must first obtain a Dubai Financial Market investor number (NIN), which serves as an identification for their investments on the exchange. NINs can be acquired via the DFM mobile app, through brokers, or supported bank channels such as Wio and the Mbank UAE app.
Applications may be submitted through the DFM IPO subscription platform, the DFM mobile app, or the iVESTOR application. Several participating banks, including Emirates Islamic, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, and Wio, also offer subscription services, though requirements and application channels vary.
The IPO pricing details, including the offer price range, are expected to be announced on Tuesday prior to the opening of subscriptions. The final price will be disclosed on November 4, following the close of the subscription period. The share’s nominal accounting value is Dh0.20, which differs from the actual IPO purchase price.
Payment deadlines vary depending on the chosen method. Cheque payments must be submitted by 1 p.m. on October 31. Bank transfers via PGS, FTS, and SWIFT are due by 1 p.m. on November 2, while payments through ATM, internet banking, mobile apps, or websites must be completed by 1 p.m. on November 3. Applicants are advised to ensure sufficient funds are available and to retain application acknowledgments for follow-up purposes.
Allocation results and refunds of any surplus subscription amounts are scheduled to begin on November 10. The public subscription category includes a minimum allocation guarantee of 2,000 shares per subscriber, subject to the overall number of shares applied for and availability. This minimum allocation is separate from the Dh5,000 application minimum and is subject to conditions outlined in the offer documents.
Once shares are allocated, investors can trade them through their brokers when trading begins on November 11. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review DIP Holding’s prospectus carefully to understand the company’s business operations, financial details, and associated risks before investing.
