The DOC Medical Center’s Izghawa branch marked its first anniversary recently, celebrating a year of growth and patient trust in Doha. Established in partnership with Nabina Medical Group, the centre highlighted significant achievements, including completing over 5,000 treatment sessions using MBST (Molecular Biophysical Stimulation) technology since its opening.
Mansoor Nabina, CEO of Nabina Medical Group, emphasized the milestone as a key outcome of the partnership, underscoring ongoing efforts to advance MBST technology throughout Qatar and the broader Arab region. Mahmoud Qaddih, General Manager of the Izghawa branch, noted that the volume of treatments reflects the centre’s success in introducing this innovative therapy to the community. He added that patients from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) travel to Doha for care, which relies on internationally certified technology and the expertise of highly skilled orthopaedic specialists.
The anniversary event was attended by patients who have benefited from the centre’s services. Ibrahim bin Musa Saleh Al Hitmi, a pioneering patient treated for knee osteoarthritis, praised the quality of medical care and specifically commended Orthopaedic Consultant Dr Fooladi for his attentive approach. Another attendee, Mohammed Nasser Wairan from Saudi Arabia, expressed satisfaction with the accurate diagnoses and treatment protocols, highlighting the comforting environment and expressing hope that MBST therapy becomes more widely accessible across the region.
Dr Fooladi, Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Izghawa branch, attributed the clinic’s progress to the collective efforts of the medical team, advanced technology, and a distinctive treatment protocol aimed at optimizing patient outcomes. He also noted the centre’s role in managing post-surgical cases, underscoring its commitment to comprehensive patient recovery. “We aspire to bring world-class medical standards to the Arab world,” he said.
The clinic also includes an internal medicine unit supervised by Dr Myadah Afadar, a consultant with 13 years of experience in Qatar. This unit offers integrated care for a variety of chronic conditions and health concerns such as colon disorders, joint and spinal pain, digestive issues, diabetes, endocrine disorders, and obesity.
Marketing Manager Rabie Abu Halaka highlighted the positive public engagement with MBST therapy and expressed optimism about future growth. Meanwhile, Dr Emmanuel Tolessa reflected on the anniversary and treatment milestone as signs of the centre’s success and ongoing commitment to innovative care.
MBST technology, developed in Germany, targets joint degeneration and chronic pain conditions. It aims to help patients manage age-related discomfort and enhance quality of life, potentially reducing the need for extensive medication. The DOC Medical Center’s Izghawa branch continues to position itself as a regional leader in offering this advanced treatment option.
