The Qatar Stars League has released the schedule for the opening weeks of the 2026-27 Doha Bank Stars League season, which is set to begin on August 20. The fixture dates and times have been finalized for the first three weeks, with the remainder of the first half schedule expected to be announced after club and national team commitments are confirmed.
The season will kick off with Al Wakrah facing Qatar SC at Lusail Stadium on Thursday, August 20, at 5:15 p.m. Later that evening, Al Rayyan will take on newly promoted Lusail at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
The opening weekend continues on Friday, August 21, with Al Gharafa hosting Al Shahania at Khalifa International Stadium at 5:15 p.m., followed by Al Arabi against Al Shamal at Al Thumama Stadium at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, August 22, Al Duhail will play Al Sailiya at Al Bayt Stadium at 5:15 p.m., and defending champions Al Sadd will face Al Ahli at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
Officials from the Qatar Stars League indicated that the schedule remains flexible to accommodate teams participating in continental and regional competitions, as well as the national team’s international fixtures. The league’s second half fixtures will be released once national team match dates have been finalized.
