Jesse Malin, the New York City-based rocker known for his contributions to the downtown music scene, continues his recovery following a rare spinal stroke suffered in 2023. Observed on Thursday evening at Wild Horses, a lounge he is associated with, Malin was seen using a walker while interacting with guests during a Halloween-themed event.

The occasion marked the launch of “The End of the Line Motel & Cocktail Lounge,” a seasonal takeover organized by Liz Vap of FeralCat Productions. The event features immersive elements, including room keys presented to attendees that serve as drink tokens, enhancing the eerie atmosphere. Special performances were provided by Downtown Dave, Liz Colby, and Grace Bergere, who are featured as part of the program’s lineup.

The Halloween-themed gathering at Wild Horses is scheduled to continue through to October 31, offering patrons a blend of live entertainment and themed décor. Malin’s presence and movement around the venue signal his ongoing determination to regain mobility and return fully to his professional and personal activities after his medical setback.
