A drone strike carried out by paramilitary forces killed five civilians in the greater Khartoum area, according to a Sudanese rights organization. The incident occurred on Saturday morning on the Jammouiya Triangle road in southern Omdurman, located across the Nile from central Khartoum.

Emergency Lawyers, a Sudanese legal advocacy group monitoring violations amid the ongoing conflict, reported that a Rapid Support Forces (RSF) drone targeted a civilian vehicle, resulting in the deaths of all passengers inside. This marks the second drone strike reported in the Sudanese capital within the past week.

The circumstances surrounding the attack and any official response from the RSF or other authorities have not been disclosed. The incident highlights the continued threat to civilians amid escalating hostilities in Sudan’s capital region.
