An intoxicated passenger on a flight from Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom to Istanbul, Turkey, bit a cabin crew member and another traveler during the journey on Wednesday. The individual, a foreign national whose identity was not disclosed, had been previously warned for bothering a female passenger aboard the AJet-operated flight.

According to a spokesperson for the budget airline, the passenger’s aggressive behavior prompted intervention from cabin crew, during which he inflicted bite injuries on both a crew member and another passenger. Upon arrival in Istanbul, the individual was restrained by authorities and subsequently arrested.

The airline has confirmed that the passenger has been banned from future flights. The circumstances leading to the initial warning and the full extent of any injuries sustained have not been publicly detailed. Officials in Turkey are handling the legal aspects of the case following the arrest.
