At the London Literature Festival held at the Royal Festival Hall, pop star Dua Lipa took on the role of guest curator, bringing a distinctive blend of style and literary engagement to the event. Known both for her music career and her passion for reading, the 31-year-old artist hosted a series of interviews while showcasing a selection of high-fashion outfits throughout the festival.
On Saturday, Lipa opened the event in a red wool dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for Chanel’s autumn/winter 2026 collection. She paired the ensemble with £1,236 stilettos from Le Silla. Later in the day, she changed into a black camisole top and matching skirt from Prada’s autumn 2026 line, complemented by floral knee-high socks and white feathered shoes, with retail prices exceeding £1,000 for each item.
Demonstrating her literary interests, Lipa engaged with Booker Prize-shortlisted author Zadie Smith in a conversation that attracted considerable attention. On Sunday, she interviewed musician and writer Patti Smith, 79, about her book "Bread of Angels." For this session, Lipa wore an embellished blouse from Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2027 collection and paired it with loose black trousers.
Aside from her role in the festival, Lipa is also known for cultivating a community of readers through her book club, Service95. As the face of luxury brands Bulgari and Versace, she combines her artistic endeavors with a strong presence in the fashion world, seamlessly merging cultural and stylistic expressions at the festival.
