The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has signed two agreements aimed at accelerating the adoption of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) within Dubai’s private sector. The memorandums of understanding (MoUs), formalized during a ceremony attended by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, involve partnerships with Nebius Academy and the software platform Lovable.
The agreements are designed to provide businesses in Dubai with enhanced access to specialized AI training and advanced development tools, facilitating the integration of agentic AI technologies into their operations. Agentic AI refers to systems capable of autonomously performing tasks and coordinating actions toward specific goals, extending beyond traditional AI models that respond solely to individual requests. This technology has the potential to streamline routine processes, improve administrative workflows, and boost overall productivity for companies.
Nebius Academy, the educational arm of Nebius, a major AI cloud company valued at over $63 billion, will focus on delivering targeted training to equip employees with AI-related skills. Lovable, a platform supporting digital software creation, aims to empower businesses and startups to develop practical AI-driven applications and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, emphasized the importance of these partnerships in strengthening local companies’ technological capabilities. He highlighted the chamber’s commitment to helping businesses understand and adopt agentic AI to enhance competitiveness, foster growth opportunities, and support startups seeking to break into new markets.
The initiative is aligned with Dubai’s broader strategy to embed advanced technologies across its economy, particularly in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda 2033, which prioritizes digital transformation as a key driver of the emirate’s long-term economic development. Through these efforts, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy—one of three chambers under Dubai Chambers—is working to boost the private sector’s competitiveness and reinforce Dubai’s position as a global hub for technology and innovation.
The program also includes specialized training tracks aimed at equipping the chamber’s 14,000 member companies, which operate under various Business Groups and Councils, with the skills necessary to leverage agentic AI. By combining workforce development with access to cutting-edge software creation tools, the agreements seek to create a comprehensive ecosystem supporting AI integration throughout the business community in Dubai.
