Dubai Municipality has introduced a new Health and Safety Radar platform aimed at enhancing proactive monitoring and management of public health and safety risks across the emirate. The system, which integrates artificial intelligence (AI), geographic information systems (GIS), and spatial analysis, is designed to identify and assess potential hazards before they escalate into larger problems.
The platform focuses on a range of risk factors, including those related to water and air quality, enabling authorities to monitor conditions that could impact public health. By combining spatial data with intelligent analytics, the Health and Safety Radar provides inspection teams with real-time indicators to better evaluate conditions at various locations and facilities throughout Dubai.
One key feature of the system is its smart dashboards and interactive maps, which offer a comprehensive spatial overview of emerging risks. This visual and analytical capability facilitates more informed decision-making and improves coordination among inspection teams and relevant stakeholders. It also allows for a quicker response to health-related reports, directing resources toward areas that require urgent attention.
In addition to enhancing internal processes, the platform is expected to bolster collaboration with strategic partners involved in risk management, contributing to a more integrated and proactive approach to public health and safety oversight in the city.
Dubai Municipality showcased the Health and Safety Radar at the 28th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2026), held from October 20 to 22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The unveiling was part of a broader display of initiatives focused on sustainable infrastructure, waste management, and construction innovation.
