Dubai Safari Park reopened on October 12, marking the start of its eighth season with a week-long series of family-oriented activities designed to coincide with the school mid-term break. The event, running through October 18, features a variety of interactive experiences and entertainment centered around wildlife and safari themes.
Held primarily at the African Village Plaza, the park’s Wildest Opening Week offers numerous activities aimed at children and families. Visitors can explore the Little Explorers’ Base Camp, an adventure zone operating daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There, children have opportunities to engage in creative projects such as the Wild Creations Clay Station, where they can paint animal figures representing species like lions, monkeys, and hippos using provided kits. In addition, the Wild Ink Temporary Tattoo Station offers safari-inspired designs including elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, as well as paw prints and tropical leaf motifs.
For more active entertainment, the base camp area features safari-themed inflatable structures and giant lawn games such as Connect 4, Jenga, and Tic Tac Toe. Families can also attend “The Wild Welcome,” a 25-minute stage performance celebrating the park’s seasonal reopening.
Beyond opening week, Dubai Safari Park continues to provide a range of wildlife encounters and safari experiences throughout the season. Admission includes the Arabian Desert Safari Tour, a drive-through safari featuring native species in naturalistic habitats. Visitors can upgrade to the Safari Bundle, which adds the Explorer Safari Tour, allowing closer observation of animals including lions, giraffes, and rhinos in open-range environments.
The park also offers premium experiences such as King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild, and Jungle Capture. These options provide private tours, exclusive access, and opportunities for dining in proximity to the animals.
Daily wildlife presentations are available throughout the season, featuring shows like Bird’s Kingdom, Echoes of the Wild, and Birds of Prey. These presentations aim to educate visitors on animal behavior and conservation efforts.
Dubai Safari Park operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during its eighth season, with the last admission allowed at 5 p.m. The specially curated activities for the Wildest Opening Week conclude on October 18, providing families with several days of entertainment and educational experiences during the school holiday.
