Ducab has appointed Matteo Bavaresco as its new group chief executive officer, effective immediately, signaling a strategic move to accelerate the company’s growth both regionally and internationally. Bavaresco succeeds Gert Hoefman, who served as interim group CEO for the past year and will remain involved as a member of the board of directors to support Ducab’s strategic initiatives.
The company, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, has expanded its operations to serve customers in more than 75 countries worldwide. With over 25 years of international experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions, Bavaresco brings a comprehensive background in leadership roles within the cable industry. Prior to joining Ducab, he held the position of CEO at an international cable manufacturing firm.
Bavaresco is recognized for his expertise in building high-performance teams, driving organizational transformation, and fostering collaborations between public and private sectors. His appointment reflects Ducab’s ambition to reinforce its position in the competitive global market and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
