Two men who operated a warehouse in Elgin, Scotland, as a distribution center for a wide range of illicit drugs have been sentenced following a police investigation that uncovered more than £1.5 million worth of narcotics. Ben Terry, 35, and Mark Davidson, 36, were identified as key figures behind the operation, which allegedly involved collaboration with an organised crime group based in England.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard that Davidson held the lease for a unit in Elgin where the drugs were stored and distributed, while both men served as directors of a company called Eliv8 Details Ltd. Official company records listed the business as providing vehicle maintenance and cleaning services, but prosecutors described the premises as one of several distribution hubs across the UK identified by the National Crime Agency.

Prosecutor David Dickson KC outlined how the defendants used Telegram, an encrypted messaging app, to receive orders for various controlled substances. The online accounts connected to the scheme included aliases such as “Amazon Dark,” “Scottish Office,” and “Master Yoda.” Drug quantities varied from large shipments weighing up to one kilogram to smaller amounts destined for individual users and dealers throughout Britain.

On December 8, 2024, the warehouse was found to contain a substantial quantity of drugs, including cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, LSD, ketamine, diazepam, the Class A drug DMT, mephedrone, and dihydrocodeine. Law enforcement officials intercepted multiple packages containing drugs or cash linked to the operation. Notably, several shipments were seized in various locations, including Northern Ireland and England, with tracking numbers tracing back to the Elgin unit.

Following these discoveries, police executed warrants to search properties in Mosstodloch and Garmouth, as well as the Elgin warehouse. The raids yielded significant quantities of controlled substances valued collectively at over £1.5 million. Among the finds were MDMA worth more than £715,000, cocaine exceeding £300,000, LSD valued at over £230,000, and substantial amounts of other drugs including amphetamines, ketamine, and DMT. In addition, cash totaling over £18,000 was recovered from Davidson’s residence.

Terry and Davidson admitted to ten charges related to their involvement in supplying drugs from December 2024 through February 2025. Both men, who were on bail prior to sentencing, were remanded in custody by Lord Summers, who indicated that they could expect lengthy prison terms as proceedings continue.
