The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation was recognized at the inaugural Himmah: Qatar Private Sector Nationalisation Award, receiving the Leading Entity in Nationalisation Award in the education sector. Additionally, Ali Turki al-Sobai, the foundation’s chief operating officer, was honored with the Leadership Excellence Award.

The awards highlight the EAA Foundation's ongoing efforts to attract, develop, and retain Qatari talent within its ranks. By fostering professional growth and leadership opportunities, the foundation aims to bolster the capabilities that underpin its mission to expand access to quality education both in Qatar and globally.

Strengthening its global presence and building institutional and national capacities have been key components of the organization’s growth strategy.

Mohammed Saad al-Kubaisi, chief executive of the EAA Foundation, expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating that nationalisation extends beyond recruitment to involve creating meaningful pathways for employees to develop skills, take on greater responsibilities, and advance into leadership roles.

Al-Sobai described the Leadership Excellence Award as a reflection of the collective dedication of his colleagues across the foundation. He emphasized the importance of building strong teams and empowering national talent to assume key positions, which he identified as fundamental to achieving operational excellence and advancing the EAA Foundation’s strategic objectives.
