EcoWorld is advancing its township developments in Selangor with a focus on long-term community growth, sustainability, and integrated living environments. The company’s projects span from mature townships to emerging commercial and digital infrastructure hubs, illustrating a multi-phase approach to urban development.
Eco Majestic, established in 2014, is a key example of this progression. The township features extensive green spaces, including nearly 16,000 trees, 2.5 million shrubs, and 16.2 hectares of detention ponds that aid in flood mitigation. Connectivity is enhanced through 10 kilometers of cycle lanes and pathways. In September 2025, Eco Majestic expanded with the soft launch of Majestic Labs, a 1.5-hectare commercial hub hosting 47 units across four floors. This development integrates dining, fitness, childcare, retail, and entertainment facilities and includes 384 car parking bays and 157 motorcycle lots. Notably, Majestic Labs incorporates a 331 kWp rooftop solar system and is situated adjacent to the township’s City Park. The Eco Majestic sales gallery has also relocated to this new hub.
Liew Tian Xiong, EcoWorld’s deputy chief executive officer, highlighted the importance of phased development, noting that townships initially begin with residential units and gradually evolve to include commercial and social amenities as the community expands.
In Puncak Alam, located in the Kuala Selangor district, EcoWorld is progressing with its Eco Grandeur township, which covers approximately 618.7 hectares and has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM10.5 billion. On November 11, 2025, the RM200 million Eco Grandeur Interchange opened on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), improving connectivity to Eco Grandeur, the nearby Eco Business Park V, and the broader Puncak Alam area. Eco Business Park V, a 311.2-hectare industrial area launched in 2017 with a GDV of RM3.5 billion, continues to develop alongside the residential township.
In early 2025, EcoWorld secured a significant contract with Pearl Computing Malaysia to develop data centre infrastructure spanning 37.4 hectares within Eco Business Park V. The data centre project, under construction with completion targeted by the second half of fiscal year 2027, carries a rental value estimated at RM4.8 billion over an initial 20-year term, with an option to extend for an additional 10 years. According to EcoWorld executives, this investment is expected to generate skilled employment and sustained economic activity in the region.
The company is also advancing in Semenyih with Eco Radiance, a new township development on 342.9 hectares acquired for RM742 million. Scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026, Eco Radiance is located adjacent to existing developments Eco Forest and Eco Majestic, collectively covering more than 809 hectares in the area. This continuity is intended to leverage the established community and facilitate further integrated growth.
EcoWorld executives emphasize that the success of these townships is measured not only by initial sales but by sustained community development, business growth, and environmental stewardship over time. Features such as green certifications, solar energy installations, extensive landscaping, and water management are increasingly integrated into project design to support sustainable living.
Across Selangor, EcoWorld’s portfolio represents various stages of development, from established residential areas to expanding commercial and industrial zones, all reflecting the company’s strategy to create evolving townships with lasting economic and social value.
