Kuwait’s Education Minister, Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, has suspended the administration of a school following incidents in which several students suffered from suffocation. The minister visited the affected students to assess their condition and emphasized that ensuring student safety remains the ministry’s highest priority.

The suspension of the current school administration is set to last three months while an investigation is conducted. A new administration has been appointed to oversee the school during this period to maintain stability in the educational process. Preliminary findings indicate that multiple students were involved in the incidents, which have been classified by the ministry as serious violations warranting disciplinary measures.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the suffocation episodes is ongoing, with the ministry pledging to hold accountable anyone found responsible or negligent. The Education Ministry also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Health and medical teams for their prompt response and care provided to the affected students. Coordination between the ministries continues to monitor the students' condition and ensure they receive appropriate treatment.
