The Fire and Safety Services Ltd (EFS) recently hosted a specialized training session focused on fire and life safety equipment for senior officers from the Fire Services Division and the Colombo Municipal Council. The program aimed to enhance participants' knowledge of fire safety protocols and the proper use of life safety tools.
The training was designed to support fire services personnel and wardens by fostering a deeper understanding of the operational aspects related to fire safety equipment. Sessions included demonstrations and practical guidance on the handling and application of various life safety devices.
Leading the training was EFS Head of Fire Services, Chief Adr Lalithna De Zoy Nasa i Tiwa Vij Antenna, who provided expert instruction throughout the program. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen fire safety capabilities within both municipal and emergency response teams.
