Emaar Hospitality Group has inaugurated its latest golf facility, Emaar South Golf Club, located in Dubai South. The new club, which officially opened on October 5, marks the company’s fourth golf venue and aims to enhance the emirate’s expanding portfolio of leisure and sporting destinations.

Designed by European Golf Design, the course features a length of 7,278 yards from the black tees and is crafted to accommodate players of varying skill levels, including seasoned golfers, beginners, and families. The facility offers a dedicated driving range along with chipping and putting greens, enabling golfers to practice different elements of their game.

Hakan Keskin, Leader of Hospitality at Emaar Hospitality Group, described the opening as a significant milestone. He emphasized that the development is more than just a golf course, highlighting its role as a purpose-built destination that combines championship-level sport, hospitality, and community engagement.

The golf club’s amenities include a modern clubhouse equipped with reception services, locker rooms, a golf shop operated by E-Golf, and a restaurant managed by Maison Mathis. The site also offers ample parking to accommodate guests. Emaar plans to host a variety of events at the club, including tournaments, member competitions, corporate golf days, and other sporting events. Future development phases will introduce membership packages and golf academy programs.

In a move toward sustainability, Emaar South Golf Club has implemented a ban on single-use plastic bottles, installing water refill stations throughout the premise to encourage the use of reusable bottles among visitors.

Situated approximately 10 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport, the club is strategically positioned to attract both local residents and international travelers. As Dubai South continues its growth as a residential and lifestyle hub, the golf club aims to serve as a social and recreational destination offering a combination of sport, dining, and leisure activities.
