Emily Atack, the British actress known for her role in the television series "Rivals," celebrated a second wedding ceremony in the Spanish hilltop town of Mojacar this weekend. The event took place at a 16th-century church in the Andalusian town, where Atack, 36, and her husband, scientist Dr. Alistair Garner, 40, received a marriage blessing in the presence of around 200 guests.

The couple had initially married three weeks earlier at a local church in Bedfordshire, England. However, this weekend’s ceremony in Mojacar was attended by friends, family, and colleagues who traveled to the town, where Atack’s father, musician Keith Atack, owns property. Atack has described Mojacar as “our favourite place on Earth.”

Atack arrived at the ceremony in a red Cadillac, wearing an off-the-shoulder ivory gown and lace veil, escorted by her father, who notably wore flip-flops. Guests enjoyed a selection of oysters and cocktails ahead of the ceremony, held under high temperatures typical of the region.

Among the attendees were Atack’s co-stars from "Rivals," including David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit. Comedian Katherine Ryan was also present, along with Felicity Blunt, the show’s lead producer, accompanied by her husband, actor Stanley Tucci.

Following the marriage blessing, the newlyweds emerged from the church through a shower of rose petals before leading a champagne toast. The evening featured a three-course dinner with dishes such as cod risotto, shredded suckling pig with pumpkin compote, and mango mousse accompanied by rum on the rocks. Each table was themed with the word “love” displayed in various languages.

The celebrations were expected to extend into the night, with a DJ set planned in the courthouse courtyard. Atack and Garner have a two-year-old son together.
