Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was involved in a tense incident with law enforcement on July 11 in Michigan after an alleged suicide attempt, according to police footage and reports. Authorities responded to a call reporting that Scott was holding a knife and bleeding from her wrist.

Body camera footage obtained by media outlets shows Scott displaying aggressive behavior while being restrained and transported on a stretcher by first responders. During the encounter, she used profanities and made disparaging remarks about a man inside the residence. Law enforcement described her as “irate and combative.” Scott was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, after reportedly biting one officer and kicking another.

Emergency personnel found Scott partially clothed when they arrived at the scene. Following the intervention, she was hospitalized for treatment. This event echoes a similar incident in July 2021 when Scott was reportedly restrained by rescue workers after a previous suicide attempt.

Kim Scott is the mother of Hailie Jade Mathers, Eminem’s daughter. The two were married twice, first from 1999 to 2001 and briefly again in 2006 before divorcing. Their turbulent relationship has been publicly referenced in several of Eminem’s songs, including the 2000 track “Kim,” which features intense and emotional lyrics directed at Scott.

In a 2011 interview, Scott expressed the pain she felt from Eminem’s public portrayal of their relationship, stating that his lyrics caused her emotional distress. Despite their difficulties, she acknowledged his role as a caring father to their daughter.
