Emirates National Schools opens scholarship applications for gifted pupils

Emirates National Schools has opened applications for its 2026-2027 Scholarship Programme targeting talented students from Grade 6 to 12, offering tuition coverage of 25% to 100%. The initiative continues to support high-achieving pupils across academics, arts, sports, and community service, aiming to cultivate future leaders and innovators.

Emirates National Schools has opened applications for its Scholarship Programme for Outstanding and Talented Students for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative aims to support academically distinguished and gifted pupils from Grade 6 to Grade 12, reinforcing the schools’ commitment to nurturing competitive, innovative, and socially responsible generations.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Secretary General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Schools, highlighted the programme’s past successes in attracting high-achieving students and fostering a culture of healthy competition within the school community. He emphasized that investing in outstanding students represents a direct investment in the nation’s future.

Lachlan MacKinnon, Director-General of Emirates National Schools, noted that the scholarship scheme is a distinguishing feature of the institution, successfully drawing students excelling in various academic and extracurricular fields. He pointed to the achievements of previous scholarship recipients, many of whom have delivered strong academic results, competed nationally in scientific, athletic, and artistic arenas, and demonstrated leadership and commitment to volunteering and community service. Some beneficiaries have also gained admission to prestigious universities domestically and internationally.

The scholarship programme was initially launched in the 2023-2024 academic year, providing 100 scholarships that cover between 25% and 100% of tuition fees. To date, 175 students of diverse nationalities have benefited from the programme. The current round continues to target students who exhibit strong academic performance or notable achievements in science, technology, literature, arts, sports, or community involvement.

The application window remains open until June 30.
