Emma Willis’s fashion series ReStyle will not return for a second season after its debut on Prime Video last year. The show, which focused on sustainability by challenging eight emerging European designers to repurpose preloved clothing into runway-ready outfits, failed to secure sufficient viewership to justify continuation.
Sponsored by the fashion app Vinted, ReStyle aimed to tap into growing consumer interest in eco-friendly fashion and creative style hacks. A television industry source noted that while the concept was commendable, the series struggled to attract a large enough audience. The source also pointed out that fashion programming faces increasing competition from influencers and digital content creators who command significant attention in the fashion and beauty sectors.
The cancellation follows a recent trend of similar shows ending after short runs. ITV’s M&S: Dress The Nation, which also featured aspiring designers competing for contracts, was recently discontinued after two series. That programme was co-presented by AJ Odudu and Vernon Kay. The termination of Dress The Nation was a setback for Odudu, especially given the uncertain future of another ITV show she fronts, Celebrity Big Brother.
For Willis, ReStyle’s end marks another shift in her expanding television career, particularly within streaming platforms. She previously co-hosted the Netflix dating show Love Is Blind with her husband, Matt Willis. Despite the loss of ReStyle, she remains active on television, currently presenting Cooking With The Stars alongside comedian Tom Allen. Additionally, Willis is confirmed to return for another series of The Voice on ITV and is set to host an upcoming dance competition on BBC One, maintaining a visible presence across major UK broadcasters.
