Evotrex, a City of Industry-based company specializing in electric recreational vehicles, has secured $30 million in Series A financing to support the production and development of its electric RV trailer, the Evotrex-PG5. The funding round included participation from new investors such as GSR United Capital, Forebright Concerto Capital, Unique Capital, Pegasus Capital, TTGG Ventures, ChunJia Capital, and Thundersoft, bringing the company’s total capital raised to $46 million.

The company plans to utilize the latest investment to complete final product development stages, conduct rigorous automotive-standard testing and validation, and prepare for production ahead of customer deliveries scheduled for 2027. Evotrex is focusing initial deliveries on the fully equipped Premium trim of the PG5, which commands a price of $159,990 and currently accounts for approximately 90% of its backlog.

Evotrex intends to launch a comprehensive testing program by the end of the year, designed to meet automotive safety and reliability standards. This program will encompass assessments such as towing and range tests, evaluations of the energy management system, lateral stability and braking performance, structural durability, as well as water fording and exposure to rain. Regulatory compliance testing will also be integral to this process.

The Evotrex-PG5 is designed to serve as both a recreational vehicle and a mobile energy platform. It integrates onboard power generation, energy storage, and smart energy management into a unified system, targeting a growing market of consumers seeking greater flexibility, connectivity, and energy independence. The company envisions the PG5 supporting a broad range of outdoor and mobile activities, including remote work, live events, mobile business operations, and emergency backup power.

Alex Xiao, chief executive and founder of Evotrex, highlighted the company’s mission to redefine outdoor adventure and innovate beyond traditional RV concepts. He noted that the positive reception following the PG5’s debut at CES earlier this year affirmed the company’s vision for an intelligent, power-generating RV designed for modern living.

Evotrex has engaged preorder customers and brand ambassadors in an ongoing co-creation process to refine the PG5’s design. Feedback from early adopters has informed features such as modular, removable dinette seating, the addition of a 72-inch integrated cinema screen, a rear bug screen with an optional enclosed patio bug-screen system, new interior styling options, and enhancements to layout and usability.
