Curtis Brown, a former BYU football player, and his wife, Kim, are mourning the death of their 2-year-old son, Haze, who drowned at their home in Clovis on July 26. According to local authorities, the toddler was found unresponsive in the family’s swimming pool by a relative who immediately called emergency services. Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Brown family is coping with what a fundraising page described as an “unimaginable loss.” The page further noted that Haze was considered a “miracle baby” and highlighted the profound grief the family is experiencing. As of Wednesday, the fundraising effort had raised over $71,000 toward a $100,000 goal to support the Browns during this difficult time.
