KUWAIT CITY — Four officers from the General Department of Criminal Investigation have received exceptional promotions for their role in apprehending inmates who escaped from the Central Jail, Kuwaiti authorities announced on June 13.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, authorized the promotions to recognize the officers’ dedication, efficiency, and significant contribution to restoring security following the jailbreak incident. The promoted personnel include Warrant Officer Khalid Jaber Al-Daihani, Sergeant Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Khaldi, Corporal Fahad Samar Al-Hazimi, and Lance Corporal Nasser Mohammed Al-Zaid. Each was elevated to the next higher rank as a mark of distinction for their outstanding performance in fulfilling their duties.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior highlighted the officers’ commitment to safeguarding public safety and maintaining national security. Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef commended their efforts, describing them as exemplary models for security forces tasked with protecting the community.
