Leading Pakistan for the first time in T20Is, Farhan amassed 238 runs across the series, surpassing the previous record of 229 runs established by India’s Abhishek Sharma earlier in 2026.

Farhan followed this with 73 runs from 44 deliveries in the second T20I, helping Pakistan secure an 82-run win and clinch the series with a 2-0 lead.
In the final match on October 13, Farhan continued his strong form with 76 runs off 47 balls. Despite his efforts, Sri Lanka managed to chase down Pakistan’s target of 169, winning by eight wickets and preventing a series whitewash. The match concluded the three-game series with Pakistan victorious 2-1.
