FC Dallas forward Petar Musa has been named to the 2026 MLS All-Star roster as a coach’s selection, the league announced Wednesday. This marks the second time Musa has been chosen for the MLS All-Star team in his career.

Musa has scored 12 goals so far this season, including a goal in FC Dallas’ 3-2 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on May 16. With 46 career goals for FC Dallas, he is tied with former player Kenny Cooper for third on the club’s all-time scoring list. He also ranks tied for second in the MLS Golden Boot race alongside Lionel Messi.

The initial 11 All-Star players were selected last month through a combination of fan, player, and media voting. The remaining 16 players, including Musa, were chosen collaboratively by MLS All-Star head coach Dean Smith and league officials.

The 2026 MLS All-Star Game is set for Wednesday, July 29, and will feature the MLS All-Stars facing off against the LIGA MX All-Stars. The match will take place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In addition to his club success, Musa has made history internationally. He represented Croatia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and scored in Croatia’s tournament opener against England, which was held at Dallas Stadium (AT&T Stadium). That goal made Musa the first active FC Dallas player to score at a World Cup.

FC Dallas acquired Musa before the start of the 2024 season in what remains the largest transfer in the club’s history. In 2025, he matched Jason Kreis’s record for most goals scored by an FC Dallas player in a single season, with 19 goals across all competitions.
