Fiat has introduced its fully electric Topolino model to the United States market, offering a compact two-seat vehicle designed primarily for use in private and restricted-access areas. The launch was announced by the Stellantis brand on Tuesday.

Priced starting at $13,995, the Topolino features a range of up to 46 miles on a single charge. The vehicle weighs just over 1,000 pounds and measures approximately eight feet in length, making it smaller and lighter than most conventional automobiles. Its top speed is limited to 19 miles per hour, aligning with its intended use in low-speed environments such as private communities, resorts, and golf courses.

The Topolino marks Fiat’s return of the nameplate that was originally associated with a popular model from the 1930s. Fiat first introduced this latest electric iteration of the Topolino in Europe in 2023, targeting urban and localized mobility solutions. The U.S. launch expands its availability but remains focused on niche applications rather than general road use.

By emphasizing compact size, low speed, and limited range, the Topolino aims to address specific transportation needs within controlled settings, prioritizing efficiency and maneuverability over traditional automotive capabilities.
