KUWAIT CITY — First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah welcomed Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport on June 27 for an official visit to Kuwait.
The visit underscores the longstanding fraternal ties between Kuwait and Lebanon and highlights both countries’ mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation, particularly in the realm of security. Sheikh Fahad extended his greetings to Minister Al-Hajjar and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay and a successful series of meetings.
During his visit, Minister Al-Hajjar is scheduled to participate in multiple bilateral discussions aimed at strengthening security collaboration and facilitating the exchange of expertise. The dialogue is intended to bolster mutual interests and contribute to regional security and stability.
Also present at the reception were Major General Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Wuhaib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Ghadi Khoury, Lebanon’s Ambassador to Kuwait. The high-level engagement reflects a concerted effort by both nations to deepen coordination across various security-related fields.
