Manon Lisa, 39, released the song "Le Petit Pêcheur" in February, and although it initially attracted limited mainstream attention, it has since been streamed millions of times and found a wide audience on social media platforms as well as in primary school classrooms.

Lisa has adapted this parable into a modern musical form, emphasizing themes of simplicity and contentment.

Lisa describes the song as an "ode to idleness," with lyrics such as "J’aime, j’aime quand la vie est facile" ("I love, I love it when life is easy").
