Singapore’s vibrant weekend market scene continues to expand in 2026, offering a diverse array of events for shoppers and enthusiasts. From handicrafts to sustainability-focused fairs and niche art markets, these recurring markets have become popular destinations for retail therapy and community engagement.

One notable event is Craft Festival Singapore, which launched in 2025 and has quickly grown in scale. Founded by potters Fyon Cheong and Zestro Leow, the market spotlights handmade goods including paintings, pottery, accessories, crochet items, illustrated prints, and character art. The festival appeals particularly to younger vendors and artisans, drawing close to 30,000 visitors at its June edition. The upcoming event is scheduled for November 7 and 8 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, featuring approximately 1,000 creatives across 400 booths.

Sustainability remains a key focus in this year’s market calendar with Green-House, Singapore’s largest eco-friendly festival, marking its fifth edition in August. Established in 2022 by sustainable label Pass It On, the event showcases local brands spanning beauty, fashion, food and beverage, home décor, and children’s products. The festival also hosts workshops, talks, and installations, often collaborating with corporate partners such as Mercedes-Benz, which contributed a solar-powered art piece crafted from recycled aluminum cans. Additionally, Punic exchange initiatives encourage recycling, such as L’Occitane’s bottle-recycling program, while zero-waste culinary efforts include a six-course meal created from kitchen scraps. Green-House will next appear as a pop-up from September 18 to 20, partnering with Common Rare at a Chinese market, featuring a specially designed booth resembling a record store with recycled vinyl cover walls and exclusive merchandise.

For enthusiasts of Japanese street fashion, Konbini offers a biannual market dedicated to Harajuku style, catering to fans of this distinct subculture.

Somewhere @ Bugis Street is a youth-oriented retail space launched by Invade, the veteran flea market organizer behind Fleawhere. Located on Level 2 of the Bugis Street shopping arcade, it operates weekends from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rotating roster of vendors selling new and pre-loved goods across categories such as clothing, jewelry, scents, and toys. The venue doubles as a community hangout, featuring amenities such as an arcade machine, an open DJ deck, sticker-making activities, and a podcast corner, with plans to add further workshops and interactive events.

Art enthusiasts can look forward to Artcade, a market celebrated for its kawaii and fan-art offerings. Typically hosting over 200 vendors, Artcade features a broad selection of original and handcrafted art alongside collectibles such as plushies, keychains, and pins, as well as stationery and lifestyle products. The next edition is slated for September 26 and 27 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Together, these markets illustrate the dynamic and varied retail landscape thriving in Singapore, appealing to different interests while fostering creativity, sustainability, and community spirit.
