SEREMBAN – Five students have reported to police that they were bullied by one of the two suspects detained in connection with the death of a Form Two male student at a school in Kuala Pilah last Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Datuk Alzafny Ahmad, Negri Sembilan police chief, said this information emerged from ongoing investigations, which have included recording statements from 69 witnesses so far. According to DCP Alzafny, the five students who made the bullying allegations identified the first suspect, a Form Four student aged 16, who remains in police custody.

The two suspects, both 16 years old, have been remanded under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which pertains to murder. The first suspect was initially remanded for six days, while the second suspect was detained more recently and is currently remanded until October 3. No additional arrests have been made in relation to the case.

The incident occurred on September 25 at the school, where the Form Two student sustained injuries before being admitted to Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah. He subsequently died from his injuries. Investigations have also revealed that the victim had not disclosed to his family any prior experience of being bullied at school.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the student’s death and are conducting further inquiries to establish the full context of the incident. Authorities have not released further details about the nature of the bullying allegations or the motives behind the attack.
