Authorities in Tallahassee, Florida, are seeking public assistance as they investigate a shooting that injured 12 individuals, including six minors, during a college football event on Saturday night. The incident occurred near Bragg Memorial Stadium amid Florida A&M University's homecoming weekend celebrations.
The Tallahassee Police Department reported on Sunday that no arrests had been made but emphasized that investigators are actively working to identify those involved. Police Chief Lawrence Revell urged the community to provide any tips, photos, or videos that could help clarify the sequence of events leading to the shooting. "No detail is too small, and no piece of information should go unreported," Revell stated.
Preliminary findings suggest that a fight erupted shortly before the shooting, which took place as crowds were dispersing from the football festivities. Eleven of the 12 victims sustained gunshot wounds. As of Sunday morning, six individuals remained hospitalized, with one person in critical condition.
Footage circulated on social media showed people fleeing the area in panic after the shots were fired. Police continue to encourage anyone with information to come forward to aid in the investigation.
