Fontaines DC is set to perform at Reading Festival in what will be their largest show to date and their only UK festival appearance this year. The Dublin band’s performance takes on added significance following the death of their long-time manager, Trevor Dietz, who passed away in June at the age of 47.
The festival set will also mark the beginning of an extensive weekend of coverage across BBC platforms, including television, iPlayer, and radio. Audiences can anticipate a mix of songs from the band’s fourth studio album, *Romance*, alongside new, unreleased material.
The performance is expected to be a poignant moment for both the band and their fans, reflecting on Dietz’s influence and legacy within their career.
