The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) issued 315 violation reports against food establishments in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh following a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting serious health and safety breaches. The operation took place on Wednesday under the supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, involving cooperation among 11 government agencies.

According to PAFN, the violations primarily included the sale of expired and adulterated food products, operation without valid licenses, failure to comply with personal and public hygiene standards, and distribution of items lacking valid health certificates. Food items deemed unsafe for consumption were confiscated and destroyed immediately during the campaign.

The inspections were conducted by teams from the General Directorate of Inspection and Control Affairs, led by Talal Al-Daihani, Director of the Farwaniya Governorate Inspection Department, with the participation of 102 inspectors. Violations documented during the campaign have been referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.

PAFN emphasized that this intervention marks the start of a broader monitoring initiative intended to encompass all governorates across Kuwait. The authority reiterated its commitment to enforcing regulations rigorously in order to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for food consumers nationwide.
