Michelle Seitz, former chair and CEO of Russell Investments, has put her Kenilworth mansion on the market with an asking price of $10.5 million. The seven-bedroom, 15,227-square-foot home, situated on nearly an acre a block from Lake Michigan, was listed last month through a private, agents-only network.

Seitz, who led Russell Investments in Seattle from 2017 until 2022 and previously spent over 20 years at Chicago-based William Blair & Co., acquired the property in late 2011 for $3.45 million. The purchase was made through a land trust that concealed her identity. Since acquiring the estate, she has undertaken a substantial renovation of the mansion, which features nine full bathrooms, three half baths, and an array of luxury amenities.

The residence includes a sunlit breakfast area connected by a double-sided fireplace to the family room, a scullery, and a kitchen equipped with walnut cabinetry and a custom stainless steel hood. The lower level boasts 11-foot ceilings, a family room, a full kitchen, and a game area. The primary bedroom suite includes a fireplace, a sycamore-paneled dressing room, a vaulted marble bathroom, a terrace with an embedded spa, and a private office with suede paneling.

The outdoor grounds are equally extensive, featuring a heated four-car garage, a saltwater pool with an adjacent spa, and a separate pool house. The property comprises two parcels, which together generated a combined property tax bill of $92,368 for the 2025 tax year.

Prior to Seitz’s ownership, the home was held by Chicago billionaire Patrick G. Ryan and his wife, Shirley, who purchased it in 1978 for $450,000 and sold it in 1994 for $1.67 million. The current listing agent, Carrie McCormick, declined to comment on the sale.

Seitz continues to be based in Seattle, where she has launched her own investment firm following her departure from Russell Investments.
