The upcoming film centers on Gail, a lively Kansas hairdresser played by Zoey Deutch, whose plans for a wedding with her high school boyfriend, Tom (Michael Cassidy), unravel after a casual conversation about their hypothetical “celebrity sex passes” is taken at face value. Tom’s chosen celebrity partner is Jennifer Aniston, leading Gail to feel compelled to level the playing field. To do so, she embarks on a weekend trip to a Los Angeles hairdressing convention with the aim of pursuing an encounter with Jon Hamm, who appears as himself in the film.
