Lutsharel Geertruida has confirmed his departure from Sunderland following the conclusion of his loan spell at the Premier League club. The 26-year-old defender, who joined Sunderland from RB Leipzig on a season-long loan last summer, made 30 appearances across all competitions during his first campaign in the English top flight.
