Manly Sea Eagles are undertaking significant changes within their football staff, as three key members are set to depart the club ahead of the 2025 season. The exits include Brett Kimmorley, Peter Gentle, and Aaron Greaves, signaling a notable shift in the club’s coaching and leadership structure.

Kimmorley, the former NSW Cup coach who joined Manly from the Wests Tigers, is leaving for personal reasons. He had been considered a potential interim head coach after Anthony Seibold was dismissed following Manly’s winless start to the current season. Seibold had previously recruited Greaves, who serves as coaching development and leadership manager. Greaves brings extensive experience from the Australian Football League, having held roles at Port Adelaide, North Melbourne, and Carlton over more than a decade.

Peter Gentle, who joined Manly in 2023 as recruitment manager before being elevated to head of football, will also depart the club. Gentle worked closely with current head coach Kieran Foran this season and previously served as interim coach for Brisbane in 2020.

The departures come as the Sea Eagles look to restructure their football department and chart a new course for future success. The club recently hosted several politicians at their final home game against St George Illawarra, an effort linked to securing their long-term presence at Brookvale Oval.

This personnel shake-up at Manly follows similar changes at Wests Tigers, who on Tuesday parted ways with senior assistant coach John Morris less than a year before his contract was due to expire.
