Geoffrey Moore, eldest son of the late James Bond actor Sir Roger Moore, is set to make his return to acting with a lead role in the upcoming spy thriller *Knightfall*. At 60 years old, Moore will portray Hugh, an MI5 agent, in the new film, marking a significant shift back to acting after years focused on other ventures.

Though Moore appeared in earlier projects such as *Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde* alongside Kirk Douglas and *Sherlock Holmes in New York*, he largely pursued a career in music and business. In 1999, he co-founded the high-end London restaurant Hush in Mayfair, which he later sold in 2023 to the Soho House group. Moore has described running the restaurant as akin to performing, noting the dynamic of entertaining high-profile clientele who often came specifically to meet him.

Moore’s reentry into acting came through connections made in the film industry, notably through independent producer Jonathan Sothcott. Their ongoing friendship eventually led Moore to accept the lead role in *Knightfall*. Despite having no formal drama training, his early exposure to film sets through his father and behind-the-scenes involvement—including producing the film adaptation of *The Saint*, starring Roger Moore—provided him with unique insights into the craft.

Filming for *Knightfall* took place during winter in London and the South Coast of England, presenting challenges from the cold weather. Moore recalled a particularly demanding reshoot at 4 a.m. but emphasized his enjoyment of the work compared to more conventional employment.

Moore reflected on growing up in the shadow of his famous father, acknowledging the pressures and privileges that came with the family legacy. Despite this, he expressed a grounded outlook and gratitude for his upbringing, including lessons from his grandparents who raised him during his father's filming commitments. He said these experiences instilled a sense of appreciation and resilience.

Now residing primarily in a chalet in the Swiss Alps with his Anglo-French wife, Loulou, and their two daughters, Moore leads a life that balances luxury with a down-to-earth attitude. Educated at prestigious Le Rosey school in Switzerland, he remains modest about his privileges and focuses on everyday gratitude.

*Knightfall* is scheduled for release on digital platforms and video on demand on September 11, followed by a Blu-ray release on September 14.
