Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are preparing for their wedding with plans for an elaborate castle structure inside Madison Square Garden, where the couple will be married this Friday. Observations during venue preparations revealed elements that appear to be part of a castle setup, including two white bannisters uncovered under a black plastic sheet. The castle is reportedly being constructed within a garden-themed area inside the arena.

Workers have been seen draping the interior of Madison Square Garden with fabric hanging from the ceiling, and the arena floor has been covered, indicating extensive decoration efforts. Several deliveries to the venue included boxes labeled “Garden Party,” suggesting a floral or garden motif for the event. This theme may be a reference to the couple’s August 2025 engagement, when Kelce proposed to Swift amid white and pink flowers.

The castle concept also aligns with Swift’s artistic history, as she previously incorporated an enchanted fortress stage design during her “Speak Now” and “Fearless” tours, potentially adding personal significance to the design choice.

Earlier in the week, a red carpet was briefly rolled out on the stairs of the VIP entrance at Madison Square Garden, intended for the wedding, though it was removed shortly after installation, reportedly because it was put in place prematurely.

The pair, both 36 years old, will host a star-studded ceremony featuring a guest list that includes Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez. Performances are scheduled by Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw. Reports also indicate that Swift will have several outfit changes throughout the event.

Kelce and Swift have been in a relationship since 2023. The couple has obtained permits for street closures surrounding Madison Square Garden and for the erection of a public tent outside the venue to accommodate the wedding festivities.
