“Sisi is a strong dude, too,” Bloomgren said. “He’s not your average rookie.” He added that the team’s focus is on ensuring Mauigoa can get his hands in the right position and understand how to set up in crucial situations against a player of Donald’s caliber. “We know how good the ability is and we know he’s on the roster. We’re going to be prepared for him.”

The Giants also face some uncertainty in their secondary heading into the game. Cornerback Deonte Banks, who suffered cramps during the Week 1 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, has been sidelined in practice for two consecutive days and is currently listed as questionable. Banks, who was a limited participant earlier in the week, did not practice on both Friday and Saturday, signaling potential concerns about his availability for Monday’s game.
